Do you want to work towards becoming a qualified umpire?  Sussex Netball offers numerous Beginners and Towards C courses across the county.

The Beginners course is an introduction to umpiring Netball and prepares participants with knowledge of rules and umpire competencies to umpire at a basic level and qualifies umpires to apply for the Beginners Umpiring Award. 

The Towards C course prepares the umpire with knowledge of rules and umpire competencies, in order to umpire at average club level and qualifies participants to apply for the C Umpiring Award.  It is expected that participants have previous umpiring experience.

Towards C Courses

Time: 10 - 4pm

Venue: LSSC, Littlehampton, BN16 2NA

Cost: £25 affiliated members, £35 non-affiliated members

Please note that to attend this course you must have been actively umpiring at a local league level for a reasonable period of time and be proficient with rules and hand signals.  This course prepares you to take your C Award and as such is not suitable for inexperienced umpires.
