Funding

It is recognised that setting up and developing clubs, coaches and players costs money. To help clubs, coaches and volunteers with this process, a number of grant schemes that can support various Netball projects have been identified.

Sussex County Netball Association Bursary

The aim of the Sussex County Netball Association Bursary is to support affiliated members with Continuous Professional Development (CPD). The Sussex County Netball Association recognises that courses to achieve new qualifications can be costly and offers financial support to those who are involved in Netball throughout Sussex.

Sport For You Grant

The Daily Telegraph in partnership with RBS is aiming to promote and nurture sport at a local level through the launch of its Sport for You grant. They will help community clubs by rewarding five £1,000 support packages each month for the next year to encourage the development of amateur and community sports clubs across the country.

Clubs are invited to tell the paper about their club, successes, details of volunteers who have served above and beyond the call of duty, what the club has done or would like to do within your community and how they would put the £1,000 grant to use. For further information on the grant please click HERE.

Sport England Small Grants Funding

The Sport England Small Grants Programme uses lottery funding to make awards of between £300 and £10,000 to not-for-profit organisations to deliver new community projects to either grow or sustain participation in sport or to support talent development. For more information on this funding please click HERE.
Great for setting up new adult netball clubs/teams or targetting those age 16 - 19 years. Netball has been identified as one of the main sports they wish to fund.
