Within Sussex, we have a wealth of experienced coaches who are attached to clubs, involved within the talent development programme and introducing players back into the sport through Back to Netball sessions.

UKCC Level 1 Coaching Qualification
The Level 1 is a three-day course and costs £170 to attend. There is no minimum playing or coaching experience required and the minimum age of participants is 16 years old.
Following successful completion, Level 1 coaches will be able to assist more qualified coaches, delivering aspects of coaching sessions, normally under direct supervision.
UKCC Level 2 Coaching Qualification
The Level 2 is a five-day course and costs £360 to attend. Candidates are required to have been an active coach in Netball for a minimum of two years and are required to be at least 18 years of age. Prior to completion of course, candidates must have attended a recognised Child Protection/Duty of Care training course and a recognised Emergency 1st Aid course.
Following successful completion, Level 2 coaches will be able to plan a series of coaching sessions, prepare the coaching environment for the delivery of coaching sessions, and deliver a series of coaching sessions to develop performance and monitor and evaluate coaching sessions and personal practice.
UKCC Level 3 Coaching Qualification
The Level 3 is an eight-day course and costs £1200 to attend. Candidates require a level of experience that is deemed to be as follows:
- Be coaching and training the same team in a club/team environment with regular training sessions and have competitive matches on a regular basis
- Experience of coaching the same group of players for a full Netball season within the past three years
- Experience of coaching a variety of players at more than one element of the performance pathway and at a variety of age groups
- Desirable to be IT literate and have access to the web
The role of the Level 3 is to plan, implement, analyse and revise annual coaching programmes.
